Another successful year
for PITTWATER ARTFEST
was completed in September
2008 with a brilliant
display of talent.
More than 450 works were
submitted by children from
ages 3 to 18 representing
schools throughout Pittwater
as well as private art
classes.
PITTWATER
ARTFEST is a biennial Youth
Art Festival aimed at children of all ages from pre-school to year
12. It was developed to encourage and recognise the artistic
pursuits of the youth of the Peninsula. PITTWATER ARTFEST was awarded Pittwater Council's Best Community
Event 2006.
The inaugural ARTFEST was held in 1998 and attracted 200 entries.
In 2000 there were 345 entries and in 2002 an amazing 630 entries.
2004 and 2006 were even bigger still.
The next ARTFEST
is due to be held in
