FANTASTIC NEW PRIZES FOR PITTWATER ARTFEST 2010

This year, Pittwater ArtFest is pleased to announce some great new prize categories for the 2010 festival. In addition to cash prizes, art materials, framing vouchers and scholarships from local art schools awarded in the following sections: Infants, Primary, Junior High, Senior High and Group.

The 2010 ArtFest will see the addition of the following prizes:

A representative from Hurley’s art department will choose one ArtFest design to be reproduced on a limited edition run of t-shirts. The winner will also receive a $250 cash prize.

ArtFest is Going Green - The UTS Sustainability Board will award a $250 cash prize to an ArtFest entrant’s artwork that addresses the environment and sustainability.

Billy Hyde’s under 18’s Song Writing Competition – Simply create a song or piece of music with the ArtFest “I dream...” theme.  All entrants will receive a great prize! The winner will perform at ArtFest Opening Night and have their song professionally recorded at the MVM Studio in Mona Vale.
